UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) exam. 2012 Eligibility

• Age Limit for Civil Services (Preliminary) exam. 2012
• The age limit of the candidates for upsc civil services (preliminary) exam. 2012 must be between 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August, 2012.
• The Applicants who wish to apply must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1982 and not later than 1st August, 1991.
• Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe, 3 years for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, 5 years for ex-servicemen and 10 years in the case of blind , deaf -mute and orthopaedically handicapped persons.
• Educational Qualification for civil services (preliminary) exam. 2012:The candidates who wish to apply for civil services (preliminary) exam. 2012 must hold a degree from any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

• Application fee:The candidates belongs to SC/ST /PH exempted from paying the application fees. The other candidates required to a pay a fees of Rs.50/- which can be paid deposited in any SBI branch by cash or they can pay through net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/Sate Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala /State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
