2. Constable/Driver – Ex-Servicemen (Backlog vacancies): 308 posts
3. Constable/Driver – Direct (Current vacancies): 137 posts
4. Constable/Driver – Ex-Servicemen (Current vacancies): 15 posts

No of vacancies: A total of 1203 Vacancies exists.

Educational qualification: The applicant must have passed Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board. The applicant should have a valid driving licence for Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle, Light Motor Vehicle, Motor cycle with gear.

Experience: The candidate should have 3 years experience of driving Heavy Motor Vehicle/Transport Vehicle or Light Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle as on the closing date for receipt of application from candidates.

Age Limit: To apply for this post candidate age should be between 21 years to 27 years as on 19-07-2014.

Pay Scale: The pay scale range for this post is Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of Eligibility test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test and Trade Test, Medical Examination, and Final Selection.

Application fee: A crossed non refundable Indian Postal Order for Rs.50/- for General and OBC candidates on account of application fee drawn in favour of the officers mentioned in the notification. No application fee for SC/ST & Ex-Servicemen candidates.
