No of vacancies: A total of 8243 Vacancies exists in 22 Postal Circles in the Country. Job applicants are advised to refer india post official notice for category wise vacancies in each cadre in each of the Postal Circles.
Educational qualification: To apply for India Post PA/SA recruitment Job aspirants should have passed 10+2/12th Class from a recognized university or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject.
Age Limit: To apply for PA / SA jobs candidate age should be between 18-27 years as on 27-03- 2014.
Pay Scale : The pay scale range for Postal / Sorting Assistants post is Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade pay of Rs. 2400 + admissible allowances as prescribed from time to time.
Selection Process:The selection of the job applicant for india post recruitment will be done on the basis of performance in the Aptitude Test (Paper-I) & Computer/ Typing Test ( Paper II).
Application fee & Mode of payment Details
Application Registration fee: Rs. 100 is the cost of application form registration for all categories of job aspirants who have registered India Post Online Form 2014.
Exam fee:Rs. 400/- is the Examination fee for all male applicants in General and OBC categories. SC / ST / Physically Impaired/ Women job applicants are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.
Mode of Payment: The job aspirants who wish to apply have to approach their nearest e-payment Post Offices and to produce Fee Payment Challan printed by him & to pay the fee in cash only.
