Income Tax Department Recruitment Details:
1. Inspector – 05 Posts (Gen - 4, OBC-1)
2. Tax Assistant – 25 Posts (Gen-14, OBC-7, SC-3, ST-1)
3. Stenographers Grade II – 07 Posts (Gen-4, OBC-2, SC-1)
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-27 years as on 25-10-2012. However the age limit for SC/ST candidates are relaxed upto 10 years, for OBC/General candidates 5 years, for Departmental candidates of OBC/General category 8 years, & for Departmental candidates of SC/ST category 13 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should check the notification for details of required educational qualification.
Pay scale: Candidates appointed as Inspector post will be paid Rs. 9300-34800; Grade Pay Rs.4600, for Tax Assistant post will be paid Rs.5200-20200; Grade Pay Rs.2400, and for Stenographers Grade-II post will be paid Rs.5200-20200; Grade Pay Rs.2400.
Selection Process: The selection process will be based on the performance of the candidates in Ground/Proficiency Test, Written Test and Personal Interview.
