SBI PO Recruitment 2013 Selection Procedure consists of Phase-I and Phase-II.
I. SBI PO Phase-I: Written Examination (250 marks)
II.SBI PO Phase-II: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)
SBI PO Phase-I: Written Examination (250 marks)
(i) Objective Tests (200 marks): SBI PO Exam 2013 will be of objective type multiple choice questions, which will be conducted on Sunday, the 28th April 2013. There will be 4 Sections in written exam, which includes the following,
(a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc) – 50 Marks
(b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computers – 50 Marks
(c) Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation – 50 Marks
(d) Test of Reasoning (High Level) – 50 Marks
Test Duration : 2 hours
(ii) Descriptive Test (50 marks): The Descriptive Test consists of descriptive type questions relating to English language, which includes the following,
comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay.
Test Duration : 1 hour
The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
Candidates who are qualified in Phase – I will be called for Phase - II.
SBI PO Phase-II: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)
The candidates who are qualified in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category and the candidates in the order of merit, subject to 3 times the number of vacancies in each category, will be called for Group Discussion and Interview.
The qualifying marks in Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
Note: The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-I and Phase-II separately.
