Educational qualification: To apply for SAIL, Bokaro Operator cum Technician Trainee post applicant should have passed Matriculation & 3 years full time Diploma in Engineering from Govt. recognized institute in any of the following disciplines:-Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation/Metallurgy/Chemical/Ceramics /Electronics & Telecom Survey/Civil as on 25-01-2014.
Age Limit: To apply for SAIL, Bokaro Operator cum Technician Trainee post applicant upper age limit should be 28 years as on 01-12-2013. Age relaxation will be extended for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-SM as per rules.
Pay Scale : The pay scale range for SAIL, Bokaro Operator cum Technician Trainee post is Rs. 9160/-3%-13150/-
Training & Probation : Applicants selected as Operator-cum-Technician Trainee will be placed on training for a period of 2 Years which may be extended by another 2 years as per requirement. After successful completion of Training, candidates shall be placed under probation for 1 year.
