The High Court of Gujarat is going to conduct Combined Main Examination for Librarian and Assistant Librarian posts on 05/05/2013.

The Main Examination comprising of 100 Marks, with 2 hours duration, consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each of 1 Mark with Negative Marking of 0.33 Mark for each Wrong/Multiple answer.

The Syllabus for such Main Examination includes the following subjects:

1.  Library Science
2.  General Knowledge & English
3. Computer Skills / Applications knowledge
4.  Legal knowledge
5.  General I.Q. Test

The candidates who secured minimum 50% Marks or more marks in the Main Examination, will be called for Viva-Voce Test (Oral Interview) which will be conducted in the month of June-2013. Viva-voce Test shall be of 50 Marks.

The candidate must have to obtain minimum 40% Marks in the Viva-voce Test.

The Final Selection List will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the Candidates in the Main Examination & the Viva-voce Test.
