Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2013 for Typist Vacancy, Eligibility Details


Name of the post: Typist

No of vacancies: A total of 47 Vacancies available for Typist post at Karnataka High Court.

Educational qualification:

1. Candidate must possess Degree in Science/Arts/Commerce/Business Management/ Computer Applications of a recognised University with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate for candidates belonging to General & OBC and minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC and ST.

2. Senior Grade Typewriting examination in English and Kannada.

3. Candidate should have a certificate in Computer basics issued by an institute imparting Computer Education.

Age Limit: To apply for this post candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not exceed the age of

(1) 40 years in the case of a person belonging to SC or ST or Category-I of OBC.

(2) 38 years in the case of a person belonging to Category-II-A or II-B or III-A or III-B of OBC; and

(3) 35 years for others.

Pay Scale : The pay scale range for Typist post is Rs. 11600-21000

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of performance in Test/Interview.

Application fee & Mode of payment Details


Application fee: Rs. 250/- for General candidates.

Note: SC/ST and Category-I candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Mode of Payment: Candidates are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 250/- by using Crossed Indian Postal Order in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore 560001.
