Andhra Pradesh Government getting ready with a biggest Job mela to fill nearly 33,738 vacancies in different categories including the categories that are classified as Group-I, Group-II and Group-IV Services, other gazetted, non-gazetted and technical categories in various departments, through direct recruitment.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh on 3rd June 2013 (Monday) issued a GO authorising various recruiting agencies such as A.P. Public Service Commission (APPSC), State Level Police Recruitment Board (PRB) and Departmental Selection Committees (DSCs) for filling 33,738 vacancies in different departments through direct recruitment. The GO (No. 132) was issued after recruitment was approved by Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Accordingly, 11,250 vacancies would be filled by APPSC, 11,623 by PRB and 10,865 by DSCs.
