RRC Kolkata South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2013 Vacancy, Eligibility Details
No of vacancies: A total of 785 Vacancies exists.
Name of the post:
1. Trackman/ Gangman: 196 posts
2. Pointsman-B: 179 posts
3. Helper-II/ Khalashi: 410 posts
Educational qualification: Candidate should have passed Matriculate or its equivalent.
Age Limit:
UR candidates age limit should be 33 years + extent of military service + 3 years as on 01-01-2014.
SC/ST candidates age limit should be 38 years + extent of military service + 3 years as on 01-01-2014.
OBC candidates age limit should be 36 years + extent of military service + 3 years as on 01-01-2014.
Eligibility Criteria: Ex-Serviceman who have retired after putting in 15 years of service in the Armed force of the Union of India and have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent are eligible to apply.
Pay Scale : Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-
Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of total length of military service and Ex-Servicemen to the extent of vacancies will be called for verification of original documents.
Examination Fee: No examination fee is applicable.
