HP Forest Guard Vacancy, Eligibility Details
Himachal Pradesh Forest Department invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up 205 posts of Forest Guards on contract basis through Direct Recruitment on the prescribed proforma at Forest Circle Level. The recruitment will be held at different Circle offices i.e. at Bilaspur, Chamba, Dharmsala, Hairpur, Kullu, Mandi, Nahan, Rampur, Shimla, WL Shimla, WL Dharmsala and National Park, Shamshi, Kullu.
No of vacancies: A total of 205 Vacancies available for Forest Guard post at Himachal Pradesh Forest Department.
Name of the post: Forest Guard
Educational qualification: To apply for Forest Guard post Candidate should have passed matriculation exam from recognized Education Board.
Age Limit: To apply for this post candidate age should be between 18 years to 27 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation will be extended as per govt rules.
Pay Scale : The pay scale range for this post is Rs. 5910-20200+2000 G.P. on monthly basis.
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test, Written test and Personality Test/ Interview.

Application form must be typed or printed on a white sheet and filled in candidates’s own hand writing on the prescribed proforma which is given in official notification.
Duly filled in application form be sent to concerned Conservator of Forests in H.P.
The application form should be deposited in the desired / concerned office of Conservator of Forests from 20/3/2013 to 16/4/2013 (5.00 PM) and for Tribal Areas of H.P. Dodra Kawar Sub Division of Shimla Division, last date of submission of form will be 23/04/2013 by 5.00 P.M.
