TNPSC Assistant Engineer Vacancies, Eligibility Details
Name of the post: Assistant Engineer
No of vacancies: A total of 40 Vacancies exists for the post of Assistant Engineer.
Educational qualification for Assistant Engineer(as on 28.03.2013)
Candidate should have passed a Degree in Mechanical or Production or Electrical or Automobile or Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its Grant.
(or)
A Diploma in Automobile Engineering issued by the Madras Institute of Technology Chennai;
Experience: Candidate should have a Practical experience in General purpose Engineering Workshop or an Engineering Industry or in a recognized concern for a period of not less than six months;
(OR)
Practical experience in a supervisory or operative capacity connected with production of goods or material or operation and maintenance of machinery and equipments in a recognized concern for a period of not less than six months.
Age Limit (as on as on 01.07.2013) : Category wise age limit details are given below.
For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes : Minimum Age is 18 years and No Maximum Age Limit.
For “Others” [i.e Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs] :Minimum Age is 18 years and Maximum Age is Below 35 Years.
Pay Scale : The pay scale range for Assistant Engineer post is Rs.15,600 - Rs.39,100/- (PB3) with Grade Pay of Rs.5,100/-
Selection Process: Candidate selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., Written Examination and Oral Test.
TNPSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2013 Application fee & Mode of payment Details
Application fee: Candidates who wish to apply for Assistant Engineer post need to pay examination fee of Rs. 150/- (Examination Fee Rs. 100/- + Cost of Application Rs. 50/-).
Candidates who are exempted from paying examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost.
Mode of Payment: Candidate should pay the fees through Online or Offline mode.
