Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) shall be conducting a competitive ARS Examination 2013 for the recruitment of 506 Scientist posts in various disciplines. ASRB will conduct two separate competitive written examinations followed by Viva-voce as per the following plan of examinations:-
1. Preliminary – ARS Examination - 2013(Objective Type)
Maximum marks: 150 marks
Duration of Eexamination: 02 hours
2. ARS – Main Examination - 2013(Descriptive Type)
Maximum marks: 240 marks
Duration of Eexamination: 03 hours
3. Viva-voce
Maximum marks: 60 marks
All those applicants desirous of appearing for ARS will have to take both the examinations & viva-voce. Only candidates qualifying in the Preliminary ARS Examination will be allowed to appear in the Main ARS examination.

Name of the Examination: Agriculture Research Service Examination 2013
No of vacancies: A total of 506 Vacancies exists.
Educational qualification: Applicants must have a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline with specialization completed on or before 16-03-2014. Applicants kindly refer the official notification for educational qualification details for ARS Examination - 2013.
Age Limit: To apply for this ARS Examination - 2013 candidate age should be between 21 years and 32 years as on 01-08-2013.
Pay Scale : The pay scale range is Pay Band-III of Rs 15,600 - 39,100 plus Research Grade Pay of Rs 6,000/-
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of written examinations & viva-voce.
Examination fee Details
General(UR)/Other Backward Class(OBC) will have to pay fee of Rs. 500/- and Rs. 20/- for Women/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ Person with Disability(PwD) candidates.How to apply for ARS Examination - 2013
