No of vacancies: A total of 154 Vacancies exists.

1. Assistant Manager: 21 Vacancies
2. Steno/Typist: 15 Vacancies
3. Jr. Clerk: 90 Vacancies
4. Programming Assistants: 08 Vacancies
5. Junior Clerks (PACS): 16 Vacancies
6. Junior Clerk (Other Cooperative Institutions): 04 Vacancies
Educational qualification:
Candidate should have a second class graduation degree of a recognized University with minimum 50% marks for Assistant Manager post.
Candidate should have passed Matriculation with at least 55% marks or 10+2 with 45% marks or equivalent of a recognized university or a graduate or above. Candidates should Pass in shorthand with a speed of 80 words per minute in English and 60 words per minute in Hindi for Steno Typist post.
Candidate should have passed Graduate in any stream with PGDCA/BCA from a recognized University and should have Working Knowledge of office automation activities like word processing, data handling and Basic networking &
hardware troubleshooting for Programming Assistant post.
Candidate should have passed Matric with 50% marks or 10+2 with 45% marks or a graduate or above of a recognized university for Jr. Clerk post.
Age Limit: To apply for above mentioned posts candidate age should be between 18 years and 45 years as on 01-01-2013.
Pay Scale :
For Assistant Manager post: Pay Band Rs.10300-34800 & Grade Pay Rs.4200
For Steno Typist post: Pay Band Rs.10300-34800 & Grade Pay Rs.3600
For Programming Assistant post: Pay Band Rs.10300-34800 & Grade Pay Rs.3600
For Jr. Clerk post: Pay Band Rs.10300-34800 & Grade Pay Rs.3200
Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of performance of candidates in Written Test, Interview, Skill test will be conducted only for Steno/Typist posts.
The screening test for the post of Assistant Manager shall be through ON LINE mode only at one of the Centres which are mentioned in the official notification.
The screening test for the post of Junior Clerks, Programming Assistants and Steno Typist shall be OFF LINE only at one of the Centers which are mentioned in the official notification.
Application fee & Mode of payment Details
For Assistant Manager post General/OBC/Ex-Servicemen/WFF/ Physically Handicapped candidates need to pay application fee of Rs.600/- and Rs.500/- for ST/SC/IRDP candidates.
For Junior Clerk / Steno Typist/ Programming Assistant posts General/ OBC/ Ex Servicemen/WFF/ Physically Handicapped candidates need to pay application fee of Rs.550/- and Rs.450/- for ST/SC/IRDP candidates.
Off-Line Mode
Payment of fee/ intimation charges through the offline mode can be made at counters of CBS branches of H.P.State Cooperative Bank Ltd, Shimla, The Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd Dharamshala and the Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank, Solan.
Online Mode
The payment can be made by using only Master/Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen.
