No of vacancies: A total of 550 Vacancies exists.
Name of the post:
1. Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): 264 Posts
2. Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): 286 Posts
Educational qualification:
To apply for Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) post candidate should have passed Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma in engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Chemical/Ceramics/ Computer Science, and Instrumentation discipline from Govt. Recognized Institute.
To apply for Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) post candidate should have passed Matriculation and ITI (full time)in Electronic Mechanic / Electrician/ Fitter / Instrument Mechanic/ Machinist / Turner /Turbine Attendant trades from Govt. Recognized Institute.
Age Limit: To apply for Operator-cum-Technician & Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee posts candidate age should be between 18 years and 28 years as on 01-10-2013. Age relaxations will be applicable as per govt. rules.
Pay Scale :
The pay scale range for Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) post is Rs.9160-3%-13150 & Grade S-3.
The pay scale range for Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) post is Rs.8630-3%-12080 & Grade S-1.
Training & Probation: Training for a period of 2 years & probation for 1 year.
Pay During Training Period:
For Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee):
First Year: Rs.10700/-
Second Year: Rs. 12200/-
For Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee):
First Year: Rs. 8600/-
Second Year: Rs. 10000/-
Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of performance of candidates in the Written Examination & Interview.
Application fee & Mode of payment Details
General/OBC candidates will have to pay Rs. 250 for the Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) post.
General/OBC candidates will have to pay Rs. 150 for Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) post.
SC/ST candidates will have to pay Rs.50/- as processing fee.
