No of vacancies: A total of 317 Vacancies exists.

1.Specialist : 150 Posts
(a)Senior Medical Specialist
(b)Medical Specialist
2.Senior Medical Officer : 167 Posts
Educational qualification: Candidate should have passed MBBS from recognized institute/college approved by Medical Council Of India/State Medical Council with recognized Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the relevant speciality.
Age Limit: To apply for post no.1(a) candidate age should be 35 years for General, 38 years for OBC,& 40 years for SC/ST candidates & age relaxation by additional 5 years for PH candidates.To apply for post no.1(b)and 2 candidate age should be 30 years for General, 33 years for OBC,& 35 years for SC/ST candidates & age relaxation by additional 5 years for PH candidates.
Pay Scale : The pay scale range for Senior Medical Specialist post is Rs. 29100-54500/- per month. For medical Specialist post & Senior Medical Officer post the pay scale is Rs. 24900-50500/- per month.
Selection Process:Candidates are selected based on the personal interiew.

General/OBC candidates are required to pay nonrefundable fee of Rs.500/-. SC/ST/PH category candidates & employees of CIL are exempted from payment of fee.
