SAIL Jr. Assistant (Trainee) Vacancy, Eligibility Details
Name of the post: Jr. Assistant (Trainee)
No of vacancies: 30 Vacancies
Educational qualification: 1) Candidate should have passed Graduation (Regular course) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks (45% for SC / ST / PWD Candidates).
(2) Diploma in Computer Application of minimum 1 year duration with proficiency in MS Office Package.
(3)Minimum Typing speed on PC of 40 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. in English for General category and Reserved category respectively.
Age Limit: To apply for this post candidate age not less than 18 years and not more than 28 years as on 01.03.2013.
Pay Scale : Rs. 10700 / month (1st Year) and Rs. 12200 / month (2nd Year). On completion of training of 2 years, they will be placed in S-3 grade / Rs. 9160-3%- 13150/- with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 9160/-.
Selection Process: Candidate selection will be done on the basis of following two stages.
Stage I - Written Test
Stage II (for candidates short listed after the Written Test) (i) Computer Skill Test (ii)Computer Typing Test (iii) Interview
Test Centres : Written Test will be held at - New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and Computer Skill / Computer Typing / Interview at Kolkata.
Application fee & Mode of payment Details
Application fee: Rs. 250/- for General / OBC candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC / ST / PWD Candidates. Please note that Rs. 20/- will need to be paid by all categories of candidates as Bank Charges to the collecting branch of SBI in addition to the application fee.
Mode of Payment: Candidate has to approach the nearby SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” which is available on the Application Registration Portal. The Pay-in-Slip printed from the portal only should be used for depositing application fee.
