SSB Recruitment 2013 Vacancy, Eligibility Details
No of vacancies: A total of 215 vacancies exists.
1. Head Constable (Workshop): 186 Vacancies
2. Sub-Inspector (Pioneer): 29 Vacancies
Educational Qualification for Sub-Inspector Post: Candidate should have passed Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
Educational Qualification for Head Constable Post: Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent or Diploma in Automobile or Motor Mechanical Engineering or Two year certificate course in Automobile or Motor Mechanical Engineering from a Government recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or equivalent.
Age Limit: To apply for Head Constable post candidate age should be between 18 to 25 years & upto 30 years for Sub-Inspector post. Cut off date for determining the age will be 20-07-2013.
Pay Scale : The pay scale range for Head Constable post is Rs. 5200-20200 + 2400 in PB-I & the pay scale range for Sub-Inspector post is Rs. 9300-34800 + 4200 in PB-II
Selection Process:Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Technical Test (Trade Test), Medical Examination, Merit/Final Selection.
Application Fee & Mode of Payment Details
Application Fee: General and OBC Category candidates will be required to pay Rs.50/- (non refundable) as application fee in the form of Bank Draft. No fee will be charged from SC/ST, Ex-servicemen & female candidates.
Mode of Payment: Draft of Rs 50/- should be prepared in favour of Accounts Officer, FTR HQ SSB, Patna, (Bihar) payable at SBI Patna.
