No of vacancies: A total of 1000 Vacancies exists.
Name of the post: Lineman
Educational qualification: To apply for PSPCL Lineman post applicant should have passed Matriculation or equivalent qualification and National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade. The candidates who possess higher education as Degree /Diploma in Electrical Engineering pass will be considered only if they have minimum qualifications as National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade. The candidates who passed successfully National Apprenticeship Training Certificate in the trade of Lineman. The candidates must have done 2 years Apprenticeship in PSPCL/ PSTCL or erstwhile PSEB.
Age Limit: To apply for PSPCL Lineman post applicant age should be between 18 years to 39 years as on 1-1-2014.
Emoluments : The Emoluments for PSPCL Lineman post is Rs. 10,000/-.
Selection Process: Selection will be made purely on merit basis. The merit will be prepared as per marks obtained in National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman trade. The percentage marks obtained shall be rounded off to the nearest 2nd decimal digit for preparing the merit.
Application fee & Mode of payment Details
All categories except SC& Person with disability candidates are need to pay Rs. 300/- Per application + Rs. 50/- Bank charges.
Person with disability category candidates are need to pay Rs. 150/- Per application + Rs. 50/- Bank charges.
SC category candidates are need to pay Rs. 75/- Per application + Rs. 50/- Bank charges.
Candidates are required to deposit the fee plus Bank charges alongwith challan in any Branch of SBOP.
