West Bengal Health Department Vacancy, Eligibility Details
Name of the posts:
1. Medical Officer (Ayush): 964 Posts
2. Staff Nurse (Female): 746 Posts
3. Pharmacist: 441 Posts
No of vacancies: A total of 2151 Vacancies exists.
Educational qualification: The candidates who wish to apply for Medical Officer post must possess BAMS/BHMS/BUMS degree from any Institution recognized by respective councils of that stream. Candidate should have completed GNM Training course from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council for Staff Nurse post. Candidate should have passed D-Pharmacy from any Institute approved by PCI/AICTE for Pharmacist post.
Age Limit: To apply for this posts candidate age should not exceeding 40 years as on 01-10-2013. Relaxation in age will be given to candidates of reserved category as per rules of Government.
Selection Process: Screening of applications, Merit list of eligible candidates based on scoring of academic qualification. Shortlisted candidates from the Merit list will be called for Original testimonial verification.
Application fee & Mode of payment Details
For Pharmacist & Staff Nurse posts: Unreserved category candidates are need to pay fee of Rs. 100/- and Rs. 50/- for Reserved category candidates.
For Medical Officer post: Unreserved category candidates are need to pay fee of Rs. 200/- and Rs. 100/- for Reserved category candidates.
Candidates can pay the application fee in the form of Demand Draft to be issued from any Nationalised Bank in favour of West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Payable at Service Branch Kolkata.
